Dubai South is a master-planned city covering an area of 145 sq. km. It comprises several key components, including MBRAH, a leading aerospace hub spanning 7 sq. km, and a multimodal logistics hub covering 18 sq. km. It is expected that by 2025, 35% of Dubai’s GDP will be generated within Dubai South. Currently, there are approximately 5000 residents living in Dubai South, and it handles 12 million tons of cargo per year. With over 150 nationalities represented, Dubai South aims to create 500,000 jobs. It was also the home of Expo 2020, which took place in the Home of Expo pavilion. More than 5000 companies currently operate in Dubai South, and it is also home to DWC (Dubai World Central) Al Maktoum International Airport.
